B4 School Check
The B4 School Check is a free check for all four year olds. The check is the final Well Child check and is done by specially trained practitioners through your GP Practice or health provider. CarePlus
CarePlus is a programme which aims to support and coordinate the care of people with high health needs.
CarePlus is designed for people who will benefit from regular visits with their Doctor or Practice Nurse.
CarePlus is only available to you through your General Practice, which is part of the Hawkes Bay PHO.
CarePlus lowers the cost of some of your visits to your Doctor or Practice Nurse.

Coordinated Primary Options
Coordinated Primary Options is a service where your general practitioner team can manage your acute medical illness at home, rather than being admitted to hospital.

Mental Health Initiative
This is a subsidised service for patients with mild to moderate mental health conditions including access to extended GP consultation and other appropriate psychological services.

Other programmes that the Hawkes Bay PHO delivers are aimed at supporting medical centres to deliver the quality care to their patients.  Examples of these programmes are continuing medical and nursing education, laboratory and pharmacy clinical facilitation, a clinical performance managment programme, rural workforce development, membership of the national representative bodies, other clinical and quality programmes.
